“When the Unthinkable Happens”
Community Faith Leaders’ Luncheon and Seminar at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC
Register by Tuesday, May 7 for the Community Faith Leaders’ Luncheon and Seminar, to be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC. The theme is “When the Unthinkable Happens.” There will be three presenters for the day: Rabbi Shaul Praver, of Congregation Adath Israel, Newtown, CT, Dr. Dean Patton, MD, of Brody School of Medicine of ECU Family Medicine, and Dr. Johnie Hamilton, PhD, Psychologist, of Vidant Medical Center. Rabbi Praver’s presentation will address the “unthinkable” in the form of violence. Dr. Patton’s presentation will address the “unthinkable” in the form of physical illness and death. Dr. Hamilton’s presentation will address when the unthinkable is in the form of mental illness.
