About Us ~

The membership of the North Carolina Chaplains’ Association is comprised of chaplains in healthcare, including long term care facilities, hospices, hospitals, and mental health facilities, along with those in industry, police and fire departments, children’s homes, corrections,  and community programs.

The NCCA was formed on November 11, 1961 out of the need for fellowship and to create an opportunity for networking.  We currently have a total membership of 487 in two membership categories, full and associate.

Our mission is to provide education, fellowship and advocacy for professional chaplains of all faiths in North Carolina.
